The two travel town to town in hopes of finding Millie and Ronyx. Roddick and Ilia arrive at a village called Kraat. Part II: Reuniteīasically, the next part of Star Ocean First Departure R has the two split duos coming together. This concludes the introduction of the game. While entering the gate, Ilia trips and causes her and Roddick to split up with Mille and Ronyx.
The four enter the gate to travel back in time and arrive in past Roak. With the information they have, Ilia, Ronyx, Roddick, and Millie head to Planet Styx where there is a time gate. Soon after the meeting with the Lezonians, Dorne turns into stone. Combined with the fact that millions of Fellpool went missing, the Federation believes the Fellpool are being used to create high-tech weapons. The Federation cannot figure out who it is After some time, they deduce that the third party might be doing it to collect the Fellpool due to their unique blood being copper-based. A Trip in Timeįollowing the debriefing and attempted cure, the Earth Federation come into contact with the Lezonians and are informed that they are being forced into war by another party. They find that the origin comes from a demon called Asmodeus, King of the Demon World, that resided in Roak 300 years ago. What they need is to find the origin of where the virus came from. Unfortunately, even with the advanced technology, they are unable to cure Dorne’s illness. Currently, Earth is at war with the Lezonians who are suspected to be the ones that caused the illness on Roak.Īfter the debriefing, Ilia and Ronyx continue with their promise. Before trying to cure Dorne, Roddick, Millie, and Dorne are debriefed on the situation with Earth. All five of them are beamed into a spaceship called the Calnus. They inform Roddick and Millie that the herb will not save their friend, but they offer to help Dorne if the three come with them. The strange folk are actually from Earth with advanced technology. Upon arrival, they meet two strange people: Ilia and Ronyx. They hear of a rumor that a certain type of herb on top of Mount Metorx nearby can cure the illness. Eventually, Roddick and Millie find out about Dorne’s illness and try to help. As any other JRPG, the three decide to go.ĭuring their trip to Coule, Dorne becomes infected and tries to hide it from his two friends. Soon after, her father sends a letter by carrier pigeon stating he has been infected as well and to not come to Coule. Millie’s father, a well-known healer, travels to Coule to help the people.
Unfortunately, a strange illness that turns people into stone sweeps through a nearby town. This planet is the home of the Fellpool, which look like humans but with tails. Basically, they are the defense force of a fairly small town called Kratus on an underdeveloped Planet called Roak.
